For the month of January 2024, Slow Style Mindset will be asking you to surrender your unused and unloved bags.

This is a great opportunity to set your barely used bags and purses free, generate some money and create valuable space in your wardrobe.

How will it work?

1. MAKE CONTACT

Email maria@slowstylemindset.com with details and images of any bags you wish to sell. Please include the following information:
Date purchased (or approx if date unknown), brand, condition and whether the bag incudes the receipt, authentication card and dustbag.
2. GUIDE PRICE

Slow Style Mindset will be in touch to confirm guide sale price. You will also be given confirmation of next steps.
3. BAG AMNESTY EVENT

Your bag(s) will be included in marketing across social channels in the run up to a Bag Amnesty event online and at The Remedy, Leigh on Sea, Essex from 10th Feb to 12th Feb.
4. SALE PROCEEDS

Proceeds from bag sales, minus commission, will be transferred to clients swiftly following a sale :-)

We will be happy to review the following for sale :-
High end high street (e.g. COS, ARKET, Whistles, Jigsaw etc)
Affordable Luxury Brands (e.g. Ganni, APC, Stine Goya, Studio Nicholson etc)
Designer Brands (e.g. Gucci, Chanel, Dior, Stella MacCartney etc)
We are not limited to these brands, so please feel free to make contact with details of a bag if you are unsure.
The bags must be in good usable condition and free from any visible pen marks, stains and excessive wear and tear.
Pricing will depend on a number of factors including the style, brand and condition.
For designer bags, the value will increase where there are authentication documents (such as authentication card and/or original receipt) and original dustbag/box.
Yes, once an item has sold you will receive the sale price less our commission for marketing and facilitating the sale:
- Sale price under £100 - you will receive 50% of sale price (our commission 50%)
- Sale price between £100 & £250 - you will receive 65% of the sale price. (our commission 35%)
- Sale price over £250 - you will receive 75% of the sale price (our commission 25%).
The event will take place at The Remedy store in Leigh on Sea in late January (date TBC).
Select bags will also be promoted on social media and available to buy remotely at the event.
Yes ! We’ll market the event nearer the time, but it will be the perfect opportunity to buy beautiful preloved bags.
Yes! If you are not local, you can send your bags to us. Please email for further information.
We will need to authenticate designer bags. If we are unable to do this from a receipt or authentication card, we will need to use a third party. The price price to authenticate a designer bag ranges fro £20-£40 and is payable by the seller.
The Bag Amnesty event will be a physical event but bags will also be promoted on social media and can be purchased remotely on the day.
Bags not sold at the event will subsequently be added to the website.
