Selling items with Accentuate Preloved

Please read the information below to gain an understanding of what can be sold through Accentuate Preloved.

We would be happy to have a phone or video call to talk through the items you wish to sell in the first instance.

When filling out the enquiry form we would ask that you are open and honest about the items and their condition as this helps us to set a realistic sale price and avoid disappointment.

We accept…

  • Brands. We will consider brands from high street to vintage and designer as long as the items are in good, sellable condition. We are looking primarily at the style and condition of a piece in order to re-sell. However we do believe that clothes that are well made (higher end high street, boutique brands, designer) last longer and therefore are more likely to achieve a successful sale pre-loved. Any high street pieces (H&M, Zara) will need to be barely worn or new with tags in order to achieve a pre-loved sale..

  • Women’s clothing in good, sellable condition.

  • Shoes, handbags and belts from premium high street or designer brands only. They must be in excellent condition.

  • Clean, fresh items. We are not responsible for drying and cleaning items prior to sale, so please ensure any items are freshly laundered.

  • Used items. We accept pre-loved items.

  • NWT - We accept items that are New With Tags. Those items you may have purchased and never worn.

We do not accept…

  • Stained items.

  • Unwashed items.

  • Items that with bobbles or that have signs fo heavy wear

  • Items that are out of shape due to wear or washing

  • Underwear

  • Children’s clothing.

  • Homewear

  • sleepwear

  • sportswear

Outlet

Not good enough to re-sell but not bad enough to send to recycling?

If you have any premium high street or designer brand items that have minor damage, we would be happy to discuss these and list them under our Outlet section for people to secure with a donation to charity.

As a business we would like to encourage people to repair, restyle and relove items that may have small defects and are currently unworn, and raise funds for charity in the process.
